Rolls Royce, Bootle/Croydon
We were responsible for the initial
trial build up of the enclosure at Rolls Royce
Power Engineering Bootle prior to delivery to
site, making any modifications that were required
to enable the fitting and removal of the GT (Rolls
Royce Trent) without any internal clashes. Erected
the steel structure and fitted the acoustic panels
that formed the sides and roof of the GT enclosure/auxiliary
skid and control room, along with all associated
ductwork, ie combustion intake, vent intake,
vent
exhaust. MacGregor & Associates also had
some input with the design of the internal GT
walkways
and auxiliary skid platform working/maintenance
areas, which we fabricated up on site. Installed
Maintenance Crane.
